Who is Gene Ha:

Like 1First Comics, Gene Ha is a born Chicagoan and currently lives in Berwyn, IL with his lovely wife Lisa.  He is the artist, with writer Kelly Sue DeConnick, on Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons Volume 2.  He is also on Top 10 with Alan Moore, both from DC Comics. He has won 4 Eisners, the highest award in American comics.

In addition to his various superhero stories for sundry publishers, he writes and draws Mae from Oni Press. It’s the story of Mae Fortell, a girl who follows her long missing sister Abbie to a world of mad science and mystery. In 2021 he was honored with the Dick Giordano Humanitarian Award for his work with schools and libraries.  Learn more with the links down below.
